Taken from No Deal Magazine

Infinity Minus One Newest EP Tales from the Mobus Strip is out and lucky for me I got a chance to review it for the magazine. Now I’m a huge fan of rock music, and no stranger to Aerosmith to Nine Inch Nails. But in my option these four guys from Boston are in league all their own.

Infinity Minus One is a Hard Rock Metal Band with intense sound and amazing talent, which shows in the song Face to Face. The guitar riff in this song is unbelievable and showed extordinary skill and talent. Not to exclude the wonderful mix of pure passion which influenced this song. Lyrics like “ Some memories seem so pointless, then again they’re who I am.” take you in the wildness of self discovery and self doubt that is the human mind, and captures what the writer (Kairo Zentradi) was feeling at that moment.

At the Doorway to Existences has a sound almost out of a PlayStation two video game with it’s futuristic feel and it’s modern guitar and drum loops. Lyrics deep and emotional almost make this song to difficult to get through, but well worth listening to. Vocals could have been recorded a little better, but still brings the listener to the heart and the deepness of this tune.

My least favorite track was Architectural Martyr. The music as before very well recorded, very well played, but the lyrics seem to say the same thing over and over. There no feel to this song and the vocals on this track like before not well mixed in.

That leaves Independence Day. Instrumental track with a Mental feel. Nicely done.

All and all Infinity Minus One has shown an amazing amount of talent and passion in each and everyone of their songs. This band is on the break of music history and they have the full support of Me as well as the rest of the No Deal Magazine Staff.
