INFINITY MINUS ONE is a professional Progressive Metal band out of the Boston area. Their 4-track CD 'Tales from the mobius strip' comes along with a very nice Pressmap, in which we can read all about the members of INFINITY MINUS ONE. The songs on the CD sounds pretty good and can be compared to SYMPHONY X and DREAM THEATER, although it's a few levels lower. The reason it isn't as good as such quality prog metalbands, is the production, which is not that good. Really a pity, because songs like "At the doorway of existence" and "Architectural martyr" are great Progressive Metal songs with good vocalwork and some nice keyboardwork here and there, while guitarist Kairo Zentradi also does his best and everything together it sounds very impressive. If only the production would have been better, with the vocals a bit more to the foreground, then it would have been a sensational record. Nevertheless, this band is still interesting to check out if you're a fan of Prog Metal. More info on them at: http://mp3.com/infinityminusone and e-mail them at: infinityminusone@bigfoot.com
